DOVER TOGETHER MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL

Green Kordofan participated with a stall at the multicultural event in Dover on Saturday the 29th June. Great atmosphere, wonderful support from the locals for the children in Yida refugee camp in South Sudan,

The event offered us a space to engage with wider members of the community to raise awareness about the cause and learn about Yida camp.

T​he Dover multicultural day event included a range of activities including: Drama workshops and performances from professional actors, traditional food and workshops on topics ranging from climate and migration, oneness and coming together across artificial boundaries, drama and its use in bringing people together and multifcultural family craft workshops,traditional and contemporary music and dance performances from local artists throughout the day, a variety of eco-friendly / ethically sourced festival stalls.
