Folkestone 10K was A success!

Kam and Oissine participated in the Folkestone 10K with over 700 runners on Sunday 27th of May to raise money for the Green Kordofan cause!
They  finished a distance of 10K (6.2 miles) in one hour and few minutes,
huge congratulations to both of them!
It was a brilliant race, a great atmosphere and a wonderful family event!

A big thank you to the race Director @ Ray Johnson and all involved in organising the race, a great turnout, spectacular!

We would like to thank all sponsors for helping them to raise over £500 for the children of  Yida refugee camp in South Sudan, your support means alot to all of us .
You can still help Kam & Oissine celebrate their achievement by leaving a comment below,  by clicking the Donate button which takes you to Kam's page where you can read his story.

As in previous years the runners were cheered on by our friends who stationed themselves along the coast from Folkestone - Hythe, all enjoyed delicious sandwiches from @Celia Stubb.
          Thank you Celia!

We made a day of it with entertainment, drinks, mince pies and music at Folkestone harbour, and ending with a big celebration at Raga’s garden on Sunday evening.
Memorable photo snapshots were taken by the lens of the wonderful @Jacqueline Fowler,
it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Cheers everyone!
