Will YOU put on your running shoes this autumn and help raise funds for children made homeless by war?
Join internationally famous desert runners who are taking part in the Folkestone Rotary Half Marathon to support our charity. You can either pick up some running tips from them, or just bring a friend along and do it at your own pace.

You will be running to support Green Kordofan, a charity based in Folkestone, which works with children living in the Yida refugee camp in South Sudan. Raga Gibreel set up the charity to help vulnerable girls and boys reclaim some of their childhood through engaging in sport.
More than two million people have been displaced by war in South Sudan and 62% of them are children.

All the money you raise will go directly towards our Youth Sports Projects for improving facilities in Yida.
There are three ways in which you can help:
Take part in the marathon yourself
Sponsor someone else who is running for us
Or set up a regular donation to Green Kordofan.
Share your own love of sport with children far away

Wonderful images of Dodge Ball Fundraiser for Green Kordofan, organised by Clodagh @WarhamChess and Francesca plus all friends involved from @LatymerUpper School in west London.
They managed to raise a magnificent £500 on behalf of the girls and boys in Yida Refugee camp in South Sudan!

If you are inspired by what Latymer School has achieved in support of our efforts in the camp, at this terrible time for S. Sudan, please do not hesitate to contact us via the website.
I am sure that Clodagh and Francesca would be happy to offer some helpful tips, from what looks to have been a really fun day

Heartfelt thanks to all concerned.
