Autumn branded as the  fighting season for fight in Sudan.

The government of Sudan has inflicted a serious assault on its own people and used the period to gain advantages. The military command and head of State , General Bashir vowed to eradicate rebels from the region by the end of autumn . unfortunately civilians have sustained most of this a assaults click here

Aerial bombing intensified, villages burnt down and shamelessly vulnerable people killed or squeezed to poor deprived areas. access to food, water, medical support increasingly shorten.

The humanitarian aid organizations are finding it very challenging to provide help because of poor security.

The government failed lately to observe a period of truth to vaccinate children at the conflict zone. Report confirmed the tragic humanitarian situation of the civilians.

All your voices matter please read this message and assimilates it. Watch atrocities in pictures @ the YouTube link below and the last summary from George Clooney, Satellite Sentinel Project which reported latest military actions in the areas and consequences damages.
George Clooney, Satellite Sentinel Project Co-founder observed:

"Last month, our satellites detected the first signs of this Sudanese government offensive. Now, with these latest shots, we have proof of its destructive impact. We're going to keep watching and reporting to keep the spotlight on as bombs drop from the sky and villages burn once again."

Air strikes and ground clashes pose a direct detriment to civilian livelihoods, particularly in the critical harvest season, when many take to the open fields to reap crops. The eruption of conflict may have also closed the window for humanitarian aid, including the long-awaited polio vaccination campaign in rebel-held areas.

The build-up of aerial assets across Sudan, particularly in El Obeid, Dilling and the surrounding towns, is alarming and efforts to put a halt to the conflicts erupting across Sudan must be addressed.

John Prendergast, Co-Founder of the Satellite Sentinel Project and the Enough Project said:

"We sounded the alarm and issued an urgent human security warning last month. Now our satellites have caught Sudanese forces massing, deploying, and engaging in active clashes on the ground. Erratic efforts to address conflict inflaming Sudan’s periphery have failed. We need a more comprehensive approach to ending Sudan’s wars."

New Book published on Property and Rights in NUBA

This book is based on an extensive field work in which the author tried to study the customary law of property of an African agrarian tribal community of Ama - also known as Nyiman - of the Nuba Mountains in the northern Sudan.

The writer has tried to explain the nature of property holding in the light of the people's philosophy evidenced in their social structure and their traditional beliefs.

Special attention is paid to the traditional structure of political leadership in this highly segmented society that was prone not only to inter-tribal wars but was also in a constant 'fission and fusion' among themselves when not at war with other neighboring tribes.

In discussing jurisdictional issues, and traditional settlement mechanisms based partly on law and custom, both adopted by this egalitarian society, the study is made currently relevant by keen observation on the effect of modernity on traditional ethics and morality of the Ama society that was once described by some authors as being 'impervious to foreign influence".

Furthermore, the reception and assimilation of the state law together with the Shari'ah laws in various areas such as that relating to property devolution, family institution, and burial rites is treated as being of great significance in the overall development of the tribal customary laws.

Like any other Nuba tribe, the consciousness of the Ama people of their ethos of identity marks their ferociously guarded customs and traditions prevalent up-to-date. The book is not only a precious academic endeavor full of keen observations, in depth study and analysis of tribal customary laws of property; but is also a memoir for the author to commemorate formidable tribal group of the Ama people in the Nuba Mountains of the Sudan.
